Acceptable - Book may have excessive wear to pages and cover.  The binding may be loose, and the book may have missing or ripped pages.  Pages may have some staining.  Answers are filled in if the book has questions. Good - A copy that has been read, but remains in clean condition. All pages are intact, and the cover is intact (including dust cover, if applicable).  The spine needs to be intact.  No large rips to the cover are accepted.  There can be no stains.   Pages can include notes, underlining, and highlighting, but it can not be excessive. Very Good - A copy that has been read, but remains in excellent condition. Pages are intact and are not marred by notes or highlighting. The spine remains undamaged.  There can be no stains. Like New - An apparently unread copy in perfect condition. Dust cover is intact, with no nicks or tears. Spine has no signs of creasing. Pages are clean and are not marred by notes or folds of any kind.    New - Just like it sounds. A brand-new, unused, unread copy in perfect condition.
