New Book
Following the success of 1901 and 1862, Robert Conroy makes the leap to trade paperback in the World War II alternative history novel 1945: Operation Downfall, where Emperor Hirohito is kidnapped by anarchists and Japan does not surrender to the Allies, forcing an invasion of Japan. An action-packed but historically logical retelling of what would have happened had the U.S. invaded Japan instead of Japan surrendering after the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
